I take the train into work everyday and see all of the baby-mommas heading down to Grady w/their kids. One thing they all have in common is that they're carrying the latest & greatest cell-phones. So our culture is now one where we have to maintain or cell service but have no problem stiffing the Doctor. Grady's problem is the new definition of "Indigent" now covers able-bodied citizens that are simply to lazy or irresponsible to see to their own needs. Unfortunately, with marriage rates less than 30% for some segments of the population, this group of individuals is growing faster than those of us asked to foot the bills. .
Wrestling the truth
Talent like Mr Kennedy, John Cena, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Brian Kendrick and Paul London.I would like to take the game away from the guys in the over 40 club -Triple H, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. It's at the point where their bodies are so broken down, they can't really hang with the younger guys. We have our injuries, we make our mistakes - personal and professional - and we learn from them. What I would like to bring to the industry is the next generation of men and women to represent athleticism, attitude, charisma, and the overall perception of being young talent as opposed to (laughs) old, balding talent.Q: What do you want to bring as a 1-on-1 fighter?A: Whether I'm winning or losing, I'd like to leave all the fans believing I was the most talented in the ring. We all know it's entertainment.

Harper takes new swipe at nuclear watchdog
The biggest problem that right wing ideological bullies face in a country like Canada is that the voters aren't as stupid as someone like Gov. Harper thinks they are. Enjoy it while it lasts Steve, your time is running out. Posted 11/01/08 at 2:24 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment .
Library-goers browse from home; High-tech makes Haverhill library and ...
She said librarians view the Internet as an extension of literacy, not a rival to traditional books. "I think librarians were one of the first, if not the first, occupations to really understand the concept of the Internet," she said. "We're information specialists. We got it right away." North Andover is launching a new Web site this week. It will replace an outdated and stale Web site with one that has current information about the library itself, and that provides four new databases to allow people to do research from home. "We are looking at the Web site as a virtual branch of the library," said North Andover Library Director Mary Rose Quinn. Databases include online encyclopedias, historical facts and information on current issues.
Stunned Andy Murray has no answers for exit at first time of asking
To expect a player who had never been beyond the fourth round of a grand-slam event to be contesting the final was outrageously optimistic and, by the time Murray had been beaten in four sets yesterday by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, of France, "egg on face" was the predominant feature of the day. Perspective is everything and it should not be lost over one result, however poorly Murray executed his game plan. The British No 1 was too acquiescent in the opening stages and, even when Tsonga, his left leg cramping, handed the third set to him, there was not enough consistency in Murray’s play off the ground. The Scot overplayed the drop shot and his challenges to HawkEye were about as woeful as it is possible to be – his eye was simply not in at all. .
Governor closes gun purchase loophole
In two search warrant affidavits filed today in Montgomery County Circuit Court, special agents with the Virginia State Police say they are seeking Cho Seung-Hui's cell phone records and any e-mails that may have been exchanged between Cho and Hilscher, who was killed in West Ambler Johnston Hall, the dormitory where she lived. In one affidavit, police say Cho's family members said he normally called them on Sunday evenings from his cell phone. Cho, police say in the affidavit, "may have communicated with others concerning his plans to carry out attacks on students and faculty at Virginia Tech." Police want to review the numbers dialed and received, text and picture messages and voicemail information spanning the life of the cell phone account. In another affidavit, police say they are seeking information from Tech's computer servers for Cho's two known e-mail accounts -- SC2@vt.edu, his school account, and blazers5505@hotmail.com, an account that was used in the purchase of a gun.
