It could be Rituparno Ghosh who cast the picture perfect Aishwarya Rai in movies like Raincoat and Chokher Bali or Buddhadeb Guha who cast the fiesty Sameera Reddy in Kaalpurush. Even movies in the making like Rituparno Ghoshs Sob Choritroi Kalponik have Bipasha Basu in a very down to earth role. Bipasha had reportedly earlier rejected Sameera Reddys role in Buddhadeb Dasguptas Kaalpurush because of money. This time, sources say, Bips has slashed her fees heavily to get into Ghoshs film.
